National Mirror - Nigeria Athletics Masters ready for tasks: "In a chat with Saturday Mirror, the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NAM, Samuel Babatoba, said the aim was to help coordinate the activities of the officials of athletics in the country which was also in line with the statutes of the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF). “In our recent meeting at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, the 42 members of NAM in attendance deemed it fit to elect her new executives to help facilitate our activities in the country as required by the IAAF.
“The election was conducted in a free and fair manner and it was devoid of any rancour from any of our members,” he said. From the 11-man list of the new executives made available to our correspondent, Dr. (Mrs) Gloria Obajimi was elected as President while Henry Amike is to serve as the Executive Vice President. Others are Uruemu Adu as secretary; Sunday Bada and Charles Yayuk were elected as Vice Presidents; Maria Wophil is the new Treasurer while Samuel Onikeku is the Financial Secretary. Also elected as a member s of the executives are Chief Falilat Ogunkoya- Omotayo who is to serve as the Women’s Representative on the board; Gabriel Opuana also will serve as the Foreign Representative; Beatrice Molokwu is the new Welfare Secretary while Samuel babatoba completes the list of the NAM new executives as the PRO"

General Assembly: "On Thursday July 14th the WMA General Assembly was held in Sacramento in conjunction with the Sacramento World Masters Outdoor Championships. Lyon, France won the vote to hold the 2015 WMA Outdoor Championships over Perth, Australia and Bydgoszcz-Torun, Poland."
